Family-owned and operated, G3 Catering has been Fort Myers caterer of choice for weddings, galas and special events throughout Southwest Florida since its founding in 2012. With over 40 years of restaurant and full service catering experience, owners and Chefs Mike and Karen Gavala believe in giving back to the community where they have raised their family by serving the nonprofit community with innovative cuisine, the utmost professional service and highly creative presentation.
The couple is regarded as one of the area’s preferred nonprofit caterers, as evidenced by their long-standing service to local charitable organizations including Community Cooperative’s annual Sam Galloway, Jr. & Friends Soup Kitchen Benefit where the G3 team runs the VIP kitchen experience for 400 guests and has also catered their annual Becoming Cosmo event for many years. Over the years, G3 has supported many local charities with catered events and/or donations or sponsorship such as Hope Shine Gala, Habitat for Humanity Women's Build, Golisano Children’s Hospital’s Luau for Life, PACE Boo Ball, Special Equestrians Taste of Love, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Suncoast Cooking for Kids, LARC Lori Carroll-Collins Scholarship Fund, Sidney and Berne Davis Art Center Cooking for the Arts and Smoke on the Water BBQ festival, Family Initiative, 4Kids, Uncommon Friends Foundation, Goodwill Festival of Trees Gala, Gulf Coast Humane Society, Edison Awards, Path 2 Freedom, Salus Care, Bishop Verot High School and Canterbury School, The Foundation for Lee County Schools.
